Saom Kheng, Khmer Communist was a soldier in battalion 703, region 3, stationed in zone 304. He was sent to study military politics before he was added up into battalion 703 which was operating in Kampong Luong. Then he was indoctrinated by a deputy of district Kampong Svay, Kin, with communist theory in order to loath and rebel against the Republic regime accused of corruption, and American puppet. This battalion had 200 soldiers who were under control of Kan and politic superintendent of Sim. This battalion was located in Sambo village, along national road 6 about 7Km from Prek Kdam. It is special forces to attack along the East bank of Tonle Sap. There had no enough dresses but there were plenty of bullets and ammunition, except M 79 only. The reason that this battalion had plenty of bullets because an officer of national forces surrendered with hundreds of his soldiers. The purpose of Khmer Communist was to educate people's mind not to live seperately but as cooperative or groups. Religions, people were forced not to offer any food to the monks. And monks were forced to live by their own, he worked on farms and raised hens and ducks. Every ways and method were used to carry out this, such as destroy temples, monaseries, schools.etc. Moreover, Angkar Communist criticised the King Sihanouk that the King was a corrupted leader, feudalist and despot, and he never shared woe and will with us. He only stay abroad alone. Saom Kheng defected to the government to division 9, Kampong Luong down town with one canoe.
ឈ្មោះ សោម ខេង នេះជាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ មានឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកង អនុសេនាធំទី៣ កងវរសេនាតូច៧០៣ ប្រចាំភូមិភាគ៣០៤។ ឈ្មោះនេះត្រូវពួកកុម្មុយនិស្ដជ្រើសរើសយកពីស្រុកកំណើតឱ្យមក រៀនសូត្រនយោបាយយោធា។ ហើយបន្ទាប់មកបញ្ជូនឱ្យចូលធ្វើយុទ្ធជន ដើម្បីបង្គ្រប់ចំនួនក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច៧០៣ ដែលកំពុងបំពេញ ប្រតិបត្ដិការណ៍សឹកនៅកំពង់ហ្លួង។ ក្រោយមកទៀតឈ្មោះនេះ ត្រូវបានគណៈស្រុករងប្រចាំស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយឈ្មោះ គីន ពង្រឹងស្មារតី ឱ្យមានជំនឿស៊ប់លើទ្រីស្ដីកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ដើម្បីឱ្យស្អប់ និងប្រឆាំងទៅនឹង របបនយោបាយសាធារណរដ្ឋដែលវាចោទថាពុករលួយ សក្ដិភូមិ ហើយជាបរិវារចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិកឈ្លានពានទឹកដី។ កងវរសេនាតូចនេះ ស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ កាន និងស្នងការនយោបាយឈ្មោះ ស៊ីម មានកម្លាំកងទ័ពចំនួន២០០នាក់។ កងវរនេះមានទីតាំងនៅភូមិសំបូរ តាមបណ្ដោយផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៦ ប្រហែលជា៧គីឡូម៉ែត្រពីព្រែកក្ដាម។ កងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៧០៣នេះប្រចាំនៅភូមិភាគ៣០៤ ហើយកង រវសេនាតូចនេះជាកម្លាំងពិសេសក្នុងការវាយប្រហារតាមដងទនេ្លសាប ត្រើយខាងកើត។ កងនេះចំពោះសម្លៀកបំពាក់ពុំសូវសំបូរទេ តែចំពោះគ្រាប់រំសេវវិញសំបូរ លើកលែងតែគ្រាប់អ៊ឹម៧៩ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ មូលហេតុដែលសំបូរគ្រាប់ ព្រោះដោយសារមានទាហានថ្នាក់វេេសនីយ៍ ម្នាក់របស់កងទ័ពជាតិបានចុះចូលជាមួយពួកខ្មាំង ព្រមទាំងនាំទ័ពនៅ ក្រោមបង្គាប់ខ្លួនរាប់រយនាក់ទៅជាមួយផង។ គោលបំណងរបស់ខ្មែរ កុម្មុយនិស្ដ គឺអប់រំចិត្ដគំនិតប្រជាជនឱ្យបែកចិត្ដពីការរស់នៅសេរី ដើម្បីរស់នៅជាសហករណ៍ ឬជាក្រុម។ ចំពោះសាសនាពួកវាបង្ខំឱ្យ ឈប់ធ្វើបុណ្យដាក់បាត្រ និងបង្ខំឱ្យព្រះសង្ឃប្រកបរបរចិញ្ចឹមជីវិត ផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនដូចស្រែចំការ ចិញ្ចឹមមាន់ទាជាដើម។ ប្រើគ្រប់វិធី នឹងគ្រប់ មធ្យោបាយគឺៈ កំទេចព្រះវិហារ កុដិ សាលា...។ល។ ជាពិសេសទៅ ទៀត ពួកអង្គការកុម្មុយនិស្ដបានបំផុសនូវគុណវិបត្ដិរបស់សេ្ដច សីហនុ ដល់កងទ័ពរំដោះថា ជាមេពុករលួយសក្ដិភូមិនិយម ប្រើអំណាច ផ្ដាច់ការ ព្រោះសេ្ដច សីហនុ ឥតបានរងនូវការលំបាកវេទនាដូចគេទេ គឺនៅសម្ងំរស់តែម្នាក់ឯងនៅបរទេស។ ឈ្មោះនេះបានចូលរួបរួម ជាមួយរដ្ឋាភិបាលសាធារណ្ឋក្រៅការប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយកងធំទី៩ នៅទីប្រជុំជនកំពង់ហ្លួង ដោយនាំយកមកនូវសំប៉ានមួយគ្រឿងមកជា មួយផង។
