After March 18, 1970, people in Suong and Oreang Ov areas very glad because they thought that the success was achieved by Viet-Cong for King Sihanouk; and later they no longer supported Viet-Cong. Khmer soldiers were divided into small group and did not know who were their commanders. People in Suong were looking forward to military operation carried out by soldiers to liberate and protect them like people in other areas. Moreover, they were ready to help our national soldiers.
ក្រោយថ្ងៃទី១៨-មីនា-១៩៧០ ប្រជាជននៅតំបន់សួង និងអូរាំង« មានការពេញចិត្ដយ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះកងទ័ពយៀកកុង ថាជាអ្នកដណ្ដើម អំណាចឱ្យសមេ្ដចសីហនុ ពិតៗ។ ក្រោយមកពួកគេក៏បែកចិត្ដលែងគាំ ទ្រពួកយៀកកុង។ រីឯកងទ័ពខ្មែរសព្វថ្ងៃគឺ គ្រាន់តែមានជាក្រុមតូចៗ ប៉ុណ្ណោះហើយមិនដឹងមេកើយនៅឯណា។ ប្រជាជននៅសួង កំពុងរងចាំឱ្យមានប្រតិបត្ដិការសឹករបស់ទ័ពយើងចូលទៅរំដោះពួកគេ ហើយនៅ ការពារពួកគេដូចនៅតំបន់ឯទៀត ហើយពួកគេជួយជាកម្លាំងដល់កង ទ័ពជាតិ។
