Cheng Tek ly joined liberated army in February 1974 with battalion 414 at Toul Champei village, under Mith Lork’s order. They were 300 in the Battalion. Nowadays, they inspired army to fight in order to set people free from American imperialists and mere dictator-ship. Weapons were supported by China and Russia. And foods were solicited from people. Army’s mind didn’t want to fight, excepted big leaders. Mean while, Youn Yiek Kong hid themselves at Stung Trang, Kampong Cham with their wives and children. In May 1974, Cheng Tek Ly defected to the society.
ចេង តេកលីចូលធ្វើទ័ពរំដោះនៅខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ នៅកង វរសេនាតូច៤១៤ ក្រោមបញ្ជារបស់មិត្ដ លក ស្ថិតនៅភូមិទួលចំប៉ី មានគ្នាចំនួន៣០០នាក់។ សព្វថ្ងៃពួកវាបានឃោសនាថាធ្វើសង្គ្រាម ដើម្បីរំដោះប្រជាជនពីចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិក និងអំណាចផ្ដាច់ការសក្ដិភូមិ។ គ្រឿងសម្ភារបានមកពីជំនួយចិន និងសូវៀត ឯម្ហូបអាហារបានមក ពីការរៃអង្គាសពីប្រជាជន។ ចំពោះទឹកចិត្ដទ័ពវិញ ពុំមានចិត្ដធ្វើសង្គ្រាម មានតែមេធំៗទេដែលចង់ច្បាំង។ ឯពួកយៀកកុងយួនបានលាក់ខ្លួន នៅស្ទឹងត្រង់ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ដោយមានប្រពន្ធនិងកូននៅទីនោះ។ នៅខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ចេង តេកលី បានវិលត្រឡប់ចូលមករួមរស់ ក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញ។
