Som Samien is PTSD victim. She got married to Touch Pak in 1978. Touch Pak died last year. Samien has 5 children, two daughters and three sons. She has 6 siblings, 3 brothers and three sisters. One of her brother died in 1973. Her father called Som Bin. Her mother called Tim Sao. Som Bin died in 1973. Her mother died because of sickness. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was imprisonment. She got serious injury. She was in combat situation. She was brainwashed. She was close to death. She was separated from her family members. She experienced the murder of stranger. She was lost. She was in a situation where her life was in danger. She has suffocated since the Khmer Rouge regime. She was beaten on the head when she was a baby. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She is unable to feel emotions. She feels jumpy. She finds it is difficult to concentrate. She has trouble sleeping She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional. She finds it is difficult to perform her daily tasks. She balmes herself for things that have happened. She spends time thinking about why these events happened to her.
សោម សាមៀនមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយទូច ប៉ាកនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨។ ទូច ប៉ាកស្លាប់ឆ្នាំមុន។ សាមៀនមានកូន៥នាក់ កូនស្រីពីរ ប្រុស៣នាក់។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៦នាក់ ស្រីបីនាក់ ប្រុសបីនាក់។ បងប្អូនប្រុសម្នាក់ស្លាប់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះសោមប៊្គន ម្ដាយឈ្មោះទឹម សៅ។ សោម ប៊្គនស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ ម្ដាយស្លាប់ដោយសារជំងឺ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យ និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ជាប់ឃុំឃាំង។ គាត់ធ្លាប់រងរបួសធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីក្រុមគ្រួសារ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់វងេ្វង។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ជួបស្ធានការណ៍មួយដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់មានគ្រោះថ្នាក់ដល់ជីវិត។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើមពីជំនាន់ប៉ុល ពតមកដល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ទទួលរងការវាយត្រូវក្បាលនៅពេលដែលគាត់នៅកេ្មងម៉្លេះ។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់បំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតឡើងសាជាថ្មីម្ដងទៀត។ គាត់អុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍អ្វីសោះ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាគាត់គ្មានថៃ្ងទៅអនាគត។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ស្រាប់តែមានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងខ្លួនពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ហេតុការណ៍គួរអោយឈឺចាប់បំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារផេ្សងៗ។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះរឿងរ៉ាវដែលបានកើតមាន។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យចំណាយពេលគិតឆ្ង់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។
