In February 15, 1974, there was a conscious Khmer communist soldier Mao Soeun - 19 who defected to Udong Mean Chey Military sub-region. He served in communist Khmer movement as a combatant in group 1 of plantoon No. 1, company No. 3, Battalion No. 713 in Mobile unit of region No. 304.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុនីស្ដភា្ញក់រលឹក ម្នាក់ ឈ្មោះ ម៉ៅ សឿន អាយុ១៩ឆ្នាំ បានចូលមករួមរស់ក្នុងសង្គមជាតិ វិញជាមួយនឹងកងកម្លាំងយោធា នៃផ្នែកសឹករង ឧដ្ដុងមានជ័យ។ ជននេះបម្រើចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដក្នុងឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជន នៅក្រុមទី១ ក្នុងកងអនុសេនាតូចទី១ កងអនុសេធំលេខ៣ កងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ ៧១៣ ភូមិភាគ៣០៤ ក្រុមចល័ត។
