Thaong Sau was a combatant in squad 3, platoon 3, company 4, battalion 145, positioned in region 35, zone 304. The battalion comprised 500 soldiers, equipped with various weapons, located in Kork Tnaot village, and its commander was Bai, khmer-Youn. The army in the battalion did not study military strategy enough, they studied it only 8 days with their own commander. The army's spirit was deteriorated because they thought that this war was between Khmer and Khmer. And their families were seriously suppressed; such as work without rest, eat not well, lack of weapons and medicine. Wherease the people in region 35 faced serious difficilties because they did not have rights to express their ideas or to complain and their property was considered collective property. Khmer Rouge in all regions sent their scouts to Phnom Penh city, so as to scout around the government and to throw grenades.
ថោង សូ ជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងក្រុមទី៣ កងអនុសេនាតូច៣ អនុសេនាធំ៤ វរសេនាតូច១៤៥ ប្រចាំតំបន់៣៥ ភូមិភាគ៣០៤។ ក្នុងកងឯកភាព នេះមានកម្លាំងចំនួន៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ធុន ហើយមាន ទីតាំងនៅភូមិគោកត្នោត ដែលមានឈ្មោះ ចែ ជា មេបញ្ជាការខ្មែរ កាត់យួន។ យុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងនេះពុំបានទទួលការហ្វឹកហាត់ផ្នែកយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រឱ្យបានដិតដល់ទេ គឺបានត្រឹមតែការហាត់រៀនរយៈពេល៨ថ្ងៃពីមេបញ្ជា ការផ្ទាល់របស់ខ្លួនតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ចំណែកទឹកចិត្ដរបស់យុទ្ធជនវិញធ្លាក់ ចុះច្រើន ពីព្រោះពួកគេយល់ថាការធ្វើសង្គ្រាមនេះគឺមានតែខ្មែរនឹងខ្មែរ គ្រួសាររបស់គេត្រូវខ្មាំងគាបសង្កត់យ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដូចជាៈ បង្ខំឱ្យធ្វើការ ឥតឈប់ឈរ ការហូបចុកមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ ខ្វះគ្រាប់រំសេវ ខ្វះថ្នាំពេទ្យ។ ចំណែកប្រជាជននៅក្នុងតំបន់៣៥ ជួបការលំបាកយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដូចគ្មាន សិទ្ធិបពោ្ចញយោបល់ឬតវ៉ា ទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិត្រូវបានអង្គការខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ រឹបអូសយកមកធ្វើជាសម្បត្ដិរួម។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដនៅគ្រប់តំបន់បាន បញ្ជូនអ្នកយកការណ៍របស់វាឱ្យចូលមកទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ដើម្បីយកការណ៍ពី ខាងរដ្ឋាភិបាលគប់គ្រាប់បែកជាដើម។
