On May 25, 1973, about 500 Khmer rebels in battalion 290, under the command of Suong and Chao and other 500 Khmer rebels in battalion 311, equipped with 3 of 82mm mortar guns and under the command of Chhen, moved from region 31 towards villages in the North of Sangva pagoda at VU:973-400 in Cheung Prey
district in order to attack national military position and to evacuate people from the district. On May 27, 1973 the enemy evacuated villagers from Mepring at VU: 937-281 and Tangsrey villages at VU: 941-284. Also, some of the villagers were killed. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ក្នុងវរសេនាតូចលេខ២៩០ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សួង និង ចៅ និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម៥០០នាក់ ទៀតក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច៣១១ បញ្ជាដោយ ឈ្មោះ ឈិន ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធត្បាល់៨២មម ចំនួន៣ដើមផង បានចេញពីតំបន់៣១ ចូលមករាយគ្នានៅតាមភូមិនានានៅខាងជើងវត្ដសង្វា សីលវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ៩៧៣-៤០០ ក្នុងស្រុកជើងព្រៃ ក្នុងបំណងវាយកងទ័ព ជាតិយើងនៅក្នុងស្រុកជើងព្រៃ និងកៀរអ្នកស្រុកទៅជាមួយផង។ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ខ្មាំងបានកៀរអ្នកស្រុកនៅភូមិ មេព្រីងវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ៩៣៧-២៨១ និងភូមិតាំងស្រីវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ៩៤១-២៨៤ហើយបានសម្លាប់អ្នកស្រុកខ្លះទៀតផង។
