On July 10, 1973, a number of Khmer rebel equipped with guns forcibly gathered and evacuated 5 families of villagers and 5 Buddhist monks from UU:622-962 in Beng Kna village to a forest. Some of them laid mines in the drain along national road No. 5, which was located near our positions in Otapaong at UU:575-987, while some others were ready to raid national soldiers operating in that region.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមមួយចំនួនប្រដាប់ ដោយអាវុធ បានកៀរប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ៥គ្រួសារ និងព្រះសង្ឃ៥អង្គ នៅភូមិបឹងខ្នារ ត្រង់ចំនុចអ៊ុយអ៊ុយៈ៦២២-៩៦២ ហើយនាំឆ្ពោះទៅក្នុងព្រៃ។ពួកវាថែមទាំងដាក់ម៉ីនក្នុងលូទឹកតាមថ្នល់ជាតិលេខ៥ ក្បែរទីតាំងការពារយើងនៅអូតាប៉ោង ត្រង់អ៊ុយអ៊ុយៈ៥៧៥-៩៨៧ ចំណែកពួកវាមួយ ចំនួនទៀតចាំស្ទាក់បាញ់ប្រហារកងការពារយើង ដែលចេញប្រតិបតិ្ដការនៅតំបន់នោះ។
