In 1971, Vibol served Khmer communist movement as a combatant in a militia unit in Andaung Pur village, Andaung Pur sub-district, Svay Rieng province and in 1972, he was the deputy chief of the unit B-1 in region 23, Svay Rieng province.
ឈ្មោះ វិបុល បានចូលបម្រើចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ជាយុទ្ធជន ក្នុងអង្គភាពឈ្លបភូមិអណ្ដូងពោធិ សង្កាត់អណ្ទូងពោធិ ខេត្ដស្វាយរៀង។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ជាអនុប្រធានខ-១ ក្នុងកងទ័ព តំបន់គ-៩ ប្រចាំតំបន់២៣ ក្នុងខេត្ដស្វាយរៀង។
