On April 09, 1973, Men Sovann, a police commissioner's office and commander of Unit 009, defected to the society with National Army in Kok Tra Lach camps, Siem Reap province, and brought along with one PA gun and one AK-47 guns. He confessed that in Unit 009, there were 320 soldiers, and had divided into 3 companies, situated in Lo Lom village.
ឈ្មោះ ម៉ែន សុវណ្ណ ជាស្នងការនគរបាល និងជាមេបញ្ជការកងវរៈ ០០៩ បានមកសុំចុះចូលជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិ នៅបន្ទាយគោកត្រឡោក (សៀមរាប) កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៩ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ដោយបាននាំយក អាវុធប៉េអាចិន១ដើម និងអាកា៤៧ មួយដើមមកជាមួយផង។ ប្រភព-បានសារភាពថាក្នុងកងវរៈ០០៩ មានទ័ពទាំងអស់៣០០នាក់ ហើយ ចែកជា៣កងអនុសេនាធំ។ វរៈ០០៩ មានទីតាំងសិ្ថតនៅភូមិលលំត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៨៧៦-៧៥៥។
