A source reported that during this week, a bout 400 North Yuon-Khmer Viet Congs equipped with all kinds of weapons came to set a base to set between Toch and Chong Slek mountains at VT 722-477, and they also cut many palm trees to make a two-store trenchs at VT 418-478. The enemies had deployed from Prek village at VT 760-453, and VT 786-446. The enemies were under the command of a Major Chhin, who had been trained in North Vietnam. The source indicated that the enemies were waiting the reinforcement. Then they had divided in to groups to attack Kandal Stung district office, Tram Khna strong hold at the same day and same time.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានថា ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលមួយអាទិត្យមកនេះពួកខ្មាំង យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ ប្រភេទជាង៤០០នាក់ បានតាំងមូលដ្ឋានត្រង់ចន្លោះភ្នំតូចនិងភ្នំចុងស្លឹក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧២២-៤៧៧ ហើយពួកវាបានកាប់ដើម ត្នោតជាច្រើនដើមធ្វើលេណដ្ឋានពីរជាន់ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧១៨-៤៧៨។ កងទ័ពខ្មាំងនៅរាយគ្នាយ៉ាងច្រើន ចាប់ពីភូមិព្រែកត្រង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៦០-៤៥៣, ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៨៦-៤៤៦។ កង ទ័ពខ្មាំងនេះឋិតក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ឈិន ពាក់សក្ដិ៤ បានហាត់ រៀនពីប្រទេសវៀតណាមខាងជើង។ ព័ត៌មានបានបញ្ជាក់ទៀតថា កង ទ័ពខ្មាំងនេះរងចាំទ័ពជំនួយពីភ្នំផុងបន្ថែមទៀត ទើបចែកជាក្រុមៗ ឡើងមកវាយសាលាស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹងខ្លះ បន្ទាយត្រាំខ្នារខ្លះនៅម៉ោង និងថ្ងៃតែមួយ។
