The Agent 044 report that on February 14, 1972, about 500 North Yuon Viet Cong had hidden in forest and in the people's homes at VT 737-963, 737-985, 766-961, 767-985, in Sangkat Chrey Las and South of Sangkat Phnom Bat. The Agent continued that a bout 300 North Yuon Viet Congs more had hidden in the forest of Sangkat Prey Las and Sangkat Chhveang, near Sre Prey Region at VT 695-925, 695-943, 745-925 and VT 735-934. They were about to attack on the National Army in Phnom Baseth and Ang Serey at the end of February.
ភ្នាក់ងារលេខ០៤៤ បានរាយការណ៍ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៤ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧២ មានយួនយៀកកុងខាងជើងប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ បានលាក់ខ្លួន ក្នុងព្រៃ និងក្នុងផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៣៧-៩៦៣, ៧៣៧-៩៨៥, ៧៦៦-៩៦១, ៧៦៧-៩៨៥ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ជ្រៃលាស់ប៉ែក ខាងជើង និងសង្កាត់ភ្នំបាតប៉ែកខាងត្បូង។ ភ្នាក់ងារយើងបានរាយ- ការណ៍បន្ដទៀតថា យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ទៀតបានលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃក្នុងសង្កាត់ជ្រៃលាស់ និងសង្កាត់ឈ្វាំង ម្ដុំ តំបន់ ស្រែព្រៃ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៩៥-៩២៥, ៦៩៥-៩៤៣, ៧៤៥-៩២៥ និង ៧៣៥-៩៣៤ ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារ កងការពារជាតិយើងនៅភ្នំបាសិត និងអង្គសិរី ក្នុងចុងខែកុម្ភះខាង មុខនេះ។
