On December 04, 1972, Um Chhoeung, a former deputy commander in Unit K-97, had defected the society with National Army. The souce reported that Young, was a commander in Unit K-97. And Unit K-97 had divided into 3 sections and one section there were 36 combatants and 27 guns.
ឈ្មោះ អ៊ុំ ឈឿង អតីតមេបញ្ជាការរង គ-៩៧ បានសុំចុះចូល មករស់នៅក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៤ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២។ ប្រភពបានឆ្លើយថា មេបញ្ជាការធំក្នុង គ-៩៧ គឺឈ្មោះ យ៉ុង ហើយ ចែកចេញជា ៣ខ ក្នុង១ខៗមានទ័ព៣៦នាក់ មានកាំភ្លើង២៧ដើម។
