On September 23, 1972, about 20 Khmer Viet Congs high ranking commanders and the chief of provincial and district cadres, gathered in Chak Kram village VU:526-208, Sangkat Krang Lvea, Tbeng Khpuos
district, Udong Mean Chey province, planning to gather military forces for comquering Chet Traes mountain located in Uodong Meanchey district again in order to use it as fortress and set up shells at the mountain peak. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានមេបញ្ជាការខ្មែរយៀកកុងធំៗ និងគណៈកម្មាភិបាលខេត្ដ និងស្រុករបស់ខ្មាំងចំនួន២០នាក់ បានជំនុំគ្នានៅភូមិចាក់ក្រំវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ៥២៦-២០៨ សង្កាត់ក្រាំងល្វា ស្រុក ត្បែងខ្ពស់ ខេត្ដឧត្ដុងមានជ័យ ក្នុងគោលបំណងប្រមូលទ័ពមកវាយប្រហារយកភ្នំចិតត្រើស ដែលសិ្ថតក្នុងស្រុកឧត្ដុង្គមានជ័យជាថី្មម្ដងទៀត ដើម្បីធើ្វលេណដ្ឋាន និងកាំភើ្លងផ្លោងនៅលើកំពូលភ្នំនោះ។
