A source reported that on November 16, 1971, about 400 mixed khmers and Vietnamese of Unit 17 and 19, under the command of Teu Seung, Uk Yong, Vietnamese, and Ta Nat, Khmer, departed from Tonle Bati small river to National Road 2 and they aimed to attack the National Army Position Siem Reap, Kandal province.
