On November 8, 1974, Thoeun Chen, a combatant in unit 903, defected to national battalion 228 at UV:789-789, and he brought one CKC guns.
He said that he defected to national armed forces because he lacked freedoms, clothes and food stuff. ធឿន ចែន ជាតិខ្មែរក្នុងអង្គភាព៩០៣ បានចូលមករួបរួមកងទ័ពជាតិ ក្រៅការប្រយុទ្ធកាលពីថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ នៅកងវរសេនាតូច២២៨ ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េៈ៧៨៩-៧៨៩ ដោយនាំមកជាមួយនូវកាំភ្លើងសេកាសេមួយដើមលេខ១៦២៨៥។ មូលហេតុដែលជននេះចូលមករួមរស់ជាមួយទ័ពជាតិ ព្រោះនៅជាមួយពួកខ្មាំងខ្វះសេរីភាព, សំលៀកបំពាក់ និងស្បៀងអាហារជាដើម។
