I than, a combatant in group 1, regiment 412, defected on September 24, 1974 to battalion 20, infantry brigade 85.
The defector said unit 412 consisted of 270 combatants, whose duties were to raid republic soldiers and the weapons used in the above unit, were the following: - one 82 mortar - two 60 mortars - three B-40 guns - two B-41 guns -three M-79, CKC, fifty AK-47, CKC, fifteen AR and M-16. អ៊ី ថាន ជាសមាជិកក្រុមទី១ នៅកងវរៈ៤១២ បានចុះចូលជាមួយ កងទ័ពជាតិកាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជាមួយកងវរៈសេនាតូច លេខ២០ នៃកងពលតូចថ្មើរជើងលេខ៨៥។ ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កងវរៈ ៤១២ មានយុទ្ធជន ២៧០នាក់ ហើយមាននាទីវាយឈ្លបកងទ័ពសាធារណរដ្ឋ រីឯអាវុធ ដែលប្រើក្នុងអង្គភាពនោះមានម៉ូតា ៨២មីលី ម៉ែត្រ ១ដើម, ម៉ូតា ៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ ២ដើម, បេ៤០ ៣ដើម, បេ៤១ ២ដើម, អ៊ឹម៧៩ ៣ដើម, អាកា៤៧ប្រហែល៥០ដើម, សេកាសេ, អាអ៊ែរចំនួន១៥ដើម និង អ៊ឹម១៦។
