Sao Saran, a combatant in battalion 413, defected to infantry brigade 85 at WU 460-242, bringnig along one AK gun. The defector said soldiers in unit 413 were regional troops, whose duty was to guard defence line and to raid republic soldiers. In this unit, they used variety of guns and heavy guns such as:
- 81 mm heavy guns - Three 60 mm heavy guns - two B-40 guns - one B-41 guns, - four M-79, AK-47, M-16, CKC guns and one walkie talkie «C25» សៅ សារុន ជាយុទ្ធជននៅកងវរៈ៤១៣ បានចូលមករួបរួមជាមួយ កងវរៈ៤១៣ នៃកងពលតូចថ្មើរជើង៨៥ ត្រង់ឌុបយូយូ៤៦០-២៤២ ដោយនាំមកនូវអាអ៊ែរ១ដើម លេខ៦២២-៦៥៣។ សាម៉ី ជនឆ្លើយថា កងវរៈលេខ៤១៣ ជាកងទ័ពតំបន់មានបេសកកម្មជាទ័ព យាមខ្សែត្រៀម និងវាយឈ្លបបន្ដិចបន្ដួច ដើម្បីរំខានទ័ពខាងសាធា រណរដ្ឋ។ ហើយអាវុធដែលប្រើមានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ ៨១មីលីម៉ែត្រ ១ ដើម, ត្បាល់ ៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ ៣ដើម, កាំភ្លើងបេ៤០ ចំនួន២ដើម, កាំ ភ្លើងបេ៤១ ចំនួន១ដើម, អ៊ឹម៧៩ ចំនួន៤ដើម, អាកា៤៧, អ៊ឹម ១៦, សេកាសេ និងវិទ្យុទាក់ទងសេ២៥មួយគ្រឿង។
