A source reported that on December 11, 1971, about 300 Viet Congs Armed Forces departed from Krai Snam at VT 898-643 and deployed in Kaok Krasang village at VT 866-662, and in Kaok Samraong village at VT 869-654 and VT 857-655, Roluos commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. The source indicated that enemies aimed to attack National Army in Prey Sa Fortress by crossing Prek Tnaot small river.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ១១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មាំងយៀក កុងប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចេញពីភូមិ ក្រៃស្នំ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៩៨-៦៤៣ មករាយគ្នាក្នុងភូមិគោកក្រសាំង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៦៦-៦៦២ ភូមិគោកសំរោង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៦៩-៦៥៤ និងវ៉េតេ ៨៥៧-៦៥៥ ក្នុងឃុំរលួស ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ទៀតថា ខ្មាំងដែលនៅចំណុចខាង លើមានគោលបំណងនឹងវាយប្រហារកងការពារជាតិនៅបន្ទាយព្រៃស ដោយឆ្លងកាត់តាមស្ទឹងព្រែកត្នោត។
