A source reported that on December 13, 1971, about 30 Khmer Noth Yuon Viet Congs departed from Boeng village and Kan Saong Kleng village, in order to destroy National Road No. 2 at six places around O Preal Bridge at VT 763-342. The source added that about 200 North Yuon Viet Congs and Khmer Viet Congs fought each other at a military base in Boeng village at VT 737-354, 737-350, 739-351, and in Kan Saong Kleng village from VT 736-356 to 738-355, Chom Reah Pen commune, Samraong district, Takeo province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៣ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មែរ យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រមាណ៣០នាក់ បាននាំគ្នាចេញពីភូមិបឹង និង ភូមិកន្សោងខ្លែង មកជីកបំផ្លាញថ្នល់ជាតិលេខ២ ចំនួន៦កន្លែង ម្ដុំ ស្ពានអូព្រាល ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៦៣-៣៤២។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមទៀតថា យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល២០០នាក់ បានមក វាយគ្នាហើយតាំងមូលដ្ឋាននៅភូមិបឹង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៣៧-៣៥៤, ៧៣៧-៣៥០, ៧៣៩-៣៥១ និងភូមិកន្សោមខ្លែង ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៣៦-៣៥៦ រហូតដល់ ៧៣៨-៣៥៥ ក្នុងឃុំជំរះពេន ស្រុកសំរោង ខេត្ដតាកែវ។
