A source reported that on December 24, 1971, about 600 Khmer Viet Congs Armed Forces set up a place to store military material and teach military tactics in Prek Sleng village No. 1, Talun commune, Sa Ang district at WT 105-469. The enemies devided into group for military tactics training and eveasdropping on National Army at Sa Ang district office. The source indicated that the enemies aimed to attack Sa Ang district office.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ពួកខ្មែរ យៀកកុងប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានចូលមក រៀបចំទីជម្រកកន្លែងផ្ទុកសម្ភារសឹក និងហាត់រៀនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រនៅក្នុង ភូមិព្រែកស្លែងទី១ ឃុំតាលន់ ស្រុកស្អាង ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េ ១០៥-៤៦៩។ ពួកខ្មាំងបានចែកគ្នាជាក្រុមៗដើម្បីហាត់យុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ និង ស៊ើបយកការណ៍ពីកងការពារជាតិនៅសាលាស្រុកស្អាង។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា ពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងវាយប្រហារសាលាស្រុកស្អាង។
