A source reported at on December 15, 1971, about 1,000 North Yuon Viet Congs Armed Forces, departed from Boeng Veam at W 195-095 in Phtah Kandal commune, Srey Santhor district, Kampong Cham province. They were cross over Tonle Mekong to hid themselves in Boeng Ray Pay at W 065-145, came to Ta Noeng commune, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. Those enemies attempted to attack the National Army Base in Prek Phnov.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ពួកវៀតកុង យួនខាងជើងចំនួនប្រហែល១០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបាន ចេញពីព្រៃនៅជុំវិញបឹងវាម ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ១៩៥-០៩៥ ឃុំ ផ្ទះកណ្ដាល ស្រុកស្រីសន្ធរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម មកឆ្លងទនេ្លមេគង្គចូល មកលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងព្រៃជុំវិញបឹងរាយប៉ាយ ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េ០៦៥-១៤៥ ក្នុងឃុំកងតាណឹង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ គោលបំណងរបស់ខ្មាំង គឺវាយប្រហារទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិនៅព្រែកព្នៅ។
