A source reported that on December 12, 1971, about 100 Khmer-Yuon armed forces Viet Congs set up shelters at VT 765-682 in jungle, Boeng Thom commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. In addition the enemies attempted to smash the National Army base at VT 813-687 in Khlas San Day village, Porng Toek commune, Dangkao district, Kandal province.

ខ្មែរយៀកកុង និងយួនយៀកកុងប្រហែល១០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានមកតាំងទីជម្រកនៅក្នុងព្រៃ វ៉េតេ ៧៦៥-៦៨២ ក្នុងឃុំបឹងធំ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ទៀតថា ខ្មាំងនេះនឹងមកវាយប្រហារទីតាំងការពារជាតិយើងនៅភូមិឃ្លះសណ្ដាយ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨១៣-៦៨៧ ក្នុងឃុំពងទឹក ស្រុកដង្កោ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ |
