A source reported that on December 10-11, 1971, about 500 Khmer Viet Congs armed forces came to a position at VT7 40-699 in Prey Toul Kra Nhang, Boeng Thom commune, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. Another 100 Yuon Viet Congs set up shelters at VT 682-778 in Prey Phchoek village. Other 100 Khmer Viet Congs set up shelters at VT 698-764 in Trapeang Chrov village, Samraong Lae commune, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពព័ត៌មានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០-១១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបាន មកតាំងទីជម្រកនៅក្នុងព្រៃទួលក្រញ៉ាង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៤០-៦៩៩ ក្នុងឃុំបឹងធំ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពផ្ដល់មកទៀតថា យួនយៀកកុងចំនួន១០០នាក់ បានមកតាំងជំរុំនៅក្នុងភូមិព្រៃផ្ចឹក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៨២-៧៧៨ និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង១០០នាក់ ទៀត តាំងទីជម្រកនៅភូមិត្រពាំងជ្រៅ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៩៨-៧៦៤ ក្នុងឃុំសំរោងលើ ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
