A source reported that on December 9, 1971, about 2,400 North Yuon Viet Cong Armed Forces came to set up shelters in the forest along a small stream in Eastern Ta Nam village at VT 750-810, 760-830, 752-810, 764-830, Snao commune, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានមកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ យៀក កុងយួនខាងជើងប្រហែលជា២៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបាន មកតាំងទីជម្រក នៅក្នុងព្រៃតាមបណ្ដោយអូរខាងកើតភូមិតាណាំ ត្រង់ វ៉េតេ ៧៥០-៨១០, ៧៦០-៨៣០, ៧៥២-៨១០, ៧៦៤-៨៣០ ក្នុងឃុំស្នោរ ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
