Sam Miech aka Riem, soldier of platoon, battalion 533, [driving section, was born in Da village, Sdaeng Chey sub-district, Cheung Prey district, Kampong Cham province. Before 18 March, Miech was a farmer. From 1970 to 1973, Miech stayed with his parents and was a monk. In March 1974, Miech joined the revolution. On 10 September 1975, Miech came to Division 502 through the indoctrination of Nel. Miech was arrested on 29 May 1975.
សំ មៀច ហៅ រៀម យោធាកងអនុសេនាតូច កងវរៈ ៥៣៣ «បើកបរ»កើតនៅភូមិដា ឃុំស្ដើងជៃ ស្រុកជើងព្រៃ តំបន់កំពង់ចាម មុន ១៨ មិនា ១៩៧០ ធ្វើស្រែ ។ ពី ១៩៧០-១៩៧៣ នៅជាមួយ«ពុកម្ដាយ និងបួសនេន ដល់ខែ៣-១៩៧៤ ចូលបដិវត្ដន៍ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី១០-៩-១៩៧៥ មកកងពល ៥០២ តាមការចាត់តាំងរបស់ ណែល ។ សំ មៀច ហៅ រៀម ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួន២៩-៥-១៩៧៥ ។
