Ieng Saroeun called Kong, the chief of group ៈ 2 of platoon ៈ 23, company 124, region 27 of Khmer communist defected to national army at Tonle Sap military operation region in February 21, 1974. He brought with him a PM made in China, 2 cartridges and 1.5 cartridge full of bullets. He confessed that he was not satisfied with the communist regime.
