Nhem Thol, alias Ra, female, disappeared. Interviewed with her 49-year-old younger sister Nhem Sophan; Thol៌s father was Nhem Nal and mother was Iem Thuch. Thol has 9 siblings [6 girls + 3 boys] and she was born in Lvea village, Lvea sub-district, Prey Chhor district, Kampong Cham province. Thol was the second child and studied until grade 10 [in the old system]. After leaving school, she came to help her parents in rice field. It was in 1973 that Thol volunteered to join the revolution in O Mlo sub-district, Stung Trang district. In 1975, Thol once came to visit her home village and told her parents and siblings that she was nowadays living in Phnom Penh and assigned by Angkar to work in Ministry of Commerce near Phsar Cha [Old Market]. Sophan then went to visit her elder sister Thol, seeing in Phnom Penh and staying at Phsar Chas [Old Market]. At that time, the city was quiet, and there were no people living in. After staying for only one night, Sophan returned to her home village because she៌s also busy at working. It was in 1973 that Sophan volunteered to join the revolution in O Mlo sub-district, Stung Trang district in Military unit. In 1974, she studied and knew medical skill, and she was assigned to treat Khmer Rouge soldiers who injured while fighting with Lon Nol៌s soldiers. At that time, there weren៌t enough medicines. Having arrived in the forest, there were also many injured soldiers dead. It was in 1975 that Sophan was assigned to work as a medical staff in Kampong Cham province, and she specialized as a dentist. At that time, there were Chinese dentists coming to train and also translators. At that time, the chief of the hospital was Chet. It was in 1977 that Sophan returned to her home village because Angkar accused her of being enemy៌s network. Having arrived in her home village, she was assigned to work in the mobile work brigade in Lvea sub-district, carry earth, and build dams. It៌s very difficult, and there wasn៌t enough food like being a medical staff. During the Khmer Rouge regime, there were many people disappeared, and Sophan has learned that people were taken away to be killed. In 1979, Sophan happily lived in her home village and earned a living as a farmer along with her husband and children.
ញ៉ែម ថុល ហៅ រ៉ា ភេទស្រី បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ ញ៉ែម សុផាន អាយុ ៤៩ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជាប្អូនស្រី។ ថុល មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ញ៉ែម ណាល់ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ អៀម ភុច មានបង ប្អូន៩នាក់ស្រី៦ ប្រុស៣ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិល្វា ឃុំល្វា ស្រុកពៃ្រឈរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ថុល ជាកូនទី២ ហើយបានរៀនសូត្រ ត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ ឈប់រៀន មកជួយធ្វើស្រែចម្ការឪពុក ម្ដាយ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលបដិវត្ដ នៅឃុំអូរម្លូ ស្រុកស្ទឹងត្រង់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ថុល បានមកលេងស្រុក កំណើតម្ដងហើយបានប្រាប់ឪពុកម្ដាយបងប្អូនថា សព្វថៃ្ង រស់នៅភ្នំពេញ អង្គការឱ្យធ្វើការនៅក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម នៅជិតផ្សារចាស់។ សុផាន បានទៅលេងបងស្រីឈ្មោះ ថុល
បានទៅជួបនៅភ្នំពេញ តែស្នាក់នៅម្ដុំផ្សារចាស់ កាលនោះឃើញទីក្រុងស្ងាត់ជ្រងំ គ្មានមនុស្សអ៊ូអរទេ ទៅ សម្រាកបានតែមួយយប់ត្រឡប់មកស្រុកកំណើតវិញ ព្រោះជាប់រវល់ធ្វើការដែរ។ សុផាន បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ បម្រើបដិវត្ដនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅឃុំអូរម្លូ ស្រុកស្ទឹងត្រង់ នៅអង្គភាពយោធា។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៤ បានរៀនពេទ្យចេះ ហើយបានព្យាបាល យោធាខែ្មរក្រហម ដែលត្រូវរបួសពេល វាយគ្នា ជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ កាលនោះមិនទាន់មានថ្នាំ គ្រប់គ្រាន់ទេ នៅក្នុងពៃ្រអ្នករបួសយកមកដល់ ក៏មានស្លាប់ច្រើនដែរ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ បានមកធ្វើពេទ្យ នៅខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម មានជំនាញព្យាបាល ធេ្មញ កាលនោះមាន គ្រូពេទ្យជនជាតិចិនមកបង្រៀន ហើយមានអ្នក បកប្រែ កាលនោះប្រធានមន្ទីរ ពេទ្យ ឈ្មោះ ជិត។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ អង្គការបានឱ្យមក រស់នៅស្រុក កំណើតវិញ ព្រោះអង្គការថា សុផាន ជាប់ខ្សែរយៈខ្មាំង ពេលមកដល់ស្រុកកំណើតវិញ បានចូល ធ្វើការនៅកងចល័តឃុំល្វា រ៉ែកដី លើទំនប់ លំបាកខ្លាំង ណាស់ហើយហូបចុកមិនបានគ្រប់ គ្រាន់ដូច កាលនៅធ្វើជាបុគ្គ លិកពេទ្យទេ។ នៅ ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមដឹងថា បាត់មនុស្ស ជាច្រើននិងដឹងថា មានយកមនុស្សទៅវាយចោល។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៩ សុផាន រស់នៅស្រុកកំណើតប្រកបរបរធ្វើស្រែចម្ការ ជាមួយ ប្ដីនិងកូនៗបានសុខសប្បាយ។ |
