600 Armed, Khmer Rebels in unit 270 under control of a Vietnamese commander split themselves into small groups coming to hide themselves in several villages such as Lum Lek, Thma Kaol, En Chang, Kanleng Chass, and Phom Yuon in Kien Svay district, Kandal province. Their aim was to attack the national armed forces along the national road 1, from Khsom village upto Dei Et college in the near future.
ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន៦០០នាក់ នៅកងលេខ២៧០ ប្រដាប់អាវុធក្រោមបញ្ជា ការជាតិយួនបានបំបែកជាក្រុមតូចៗចូលមករាយគ្នាលាក់ខ្លួន នៅតាមភូមិលំលែក, ថ្មគោល, អែនចង់, កន្លែងចាស់ និង ភូមិយួន នៅស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំងប្រុងវាយ កងទ័ពជាតិតាមផ្លូវលេខ១ចាប់ពីភូមិខ្សុំរហូតដល់វិទ្យាល័យដីឥដ្ឋនៅ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗនេះ។
