កំណត់សម្គាល់សេចក្ដីសង្ខេប :
On September-06-1973, 900-strong armed Khmer Rebels came to deploy and hide themselves in villages located along the national road 4. Roughly 400 rebels deployed along the Southern part of the national road 4 in Sra Kum and Kraing Lvea villages in Prey Puoch subdistrict, Samdech Chuon Nat district, Kandal province. Around 500 else scattered along the Northern part of the national road 4 in Trapeang Chhouk and Thlaek villages in Peuk subdistrict, Ang Snuol district, Udong Meanchey. Their aim was to ambush our national armed forces going into clearing operation along the national road 4.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៦-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន៩០០នាក់ប្រដាប់អាវុធបាន មកលាក់ខ្លួននៅភូមិនានាតាមសង្ខាងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤។ ខ្មាំងប្រហែល ៤០០នាក់ បានមករាយគ្នាខាងត្បូងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤ នៅភូមិស្រគំ និង ភូមិក្រាំងលាវក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រៃពួច ស្រុកសមេ្ដចជួនណាត ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ខ្មាំងប្រហែល៥០០នាក់បានមករាយគ្នាខាងជើងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤នៅ ភូមិត្រពាំងឈូក និងភូមិថ្លើក សង្កាត់ពើក ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ឧត្ដុងមានជ័យ, ខា្មំងមានគោលបំណងស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិ ដែលឡើងទៅប្រតិបត្ដិការបើកផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤។
