On September 25, 1973, there was a meeting between Viet-Cong commander and Khmer rebel on cease-fire in Kanthao pagoda. After the negotiation, Viet-Cong troop retreated and transported ammunition, by car, from Kampong Trach mountain to hide in the North of Lngieng mountain of Sdach Kung sub-district, Banteay Meas district and in Ta Mok mountain of Kanthao sub-district, Kampong Trach district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៥-សីហា-១៩៧៣ មានការរួមប្រជុំមួយរវាងមេបញ្ជាការ នៃយួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមស្ដីពីការឈប់បាញ់គ្នានៅវត្ដកន្ថោ។ ក្រោយពីកិច្ចចរចារនេះមកកងទ័ពយួនយៀកកុងបានដកថយ និងបញ្ជូន កាំភ្លើងគ្រាប់រំសេវដឹកតាមឡានចេញពីភំ្នកំពង់ត្រាច រួចយកទៅលាក់ ទុកនៅខាងជើងភំ្នល្ងៀង សង្កាត់សេ្ដចគង់ ស្រុកបន្ទាយមាស និងភ្នំតាម៉ុ ក សង្កាត់កន្ថោ ស្រុកកំពង់ត្រាច។
