Khim Saret confessed that he had joined Khmer Rouge since January 1974 and became a combatant in group 2, battalion 13, region 13 of southwest zone. He was arrested by national troop at his first time of fighting with national troop in the South of Tom pagoda.
ឃឹម សារ៉េត បានសារភាពថាខ្លួនពិតជាបានចូលធ្វើជាខ្មែរក្រហម តាំងពីខែមករា១៩៧៤ មានមុខងារជាយុទ្ធជននៅក្រុមទី២ កងអនុសេនាតូចលេខ១ កងវរសេនាតូចលេខ១៣ តំបន់១៣ ភាគនិរតី។ តាំងពីចូលធ្វើទ័ពមកទើបតែចូលប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយកងទ័ពម្ដងនេះគត់ នៅសមរភូមិប្រយុទ្ធខាងត្បូងវត្ដតុំ ក៍ត្រូវកងទ័ពជាតិចាប់ខ្លួនបាន។
