On October 27-29, 1973, about 200 Khmer rebel armed force came to built strong trenches along the roads in Keo Rormoul village, where they positioned 2 mortar guns to shell the airport. Their task was to ambush our national armed forces who were in operation to liberate Keo Rormoul region.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧-២៩ ខែតុលា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល ២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធបានមកជីកលេណដ្ឋានយ៉ាងមាំរាយគ្នាស្នាក់ នៅតាមផ្លូវនៅភូមិកែវរមូល ពិសេសខ្មាំងបានតាំងកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់២ដើម សម្រាប់បាញ់ផ្លោងទៅលើចំណតយន្ដហោះ។ ខ្មាំងមាននាទីពួកស្ទាក់ វាយប្រហារទ័ពជាតិ ដែលឡើងទៅប្រតិបត្ដិការរំដោះយកតំបន់នោះ។
