On November 3, 1973, 100 Khmer Communists came to shelter and dig trench for their heavy artillery base in Chi He village, Chi He sub-district, Koh Sotin district. At that time, they cut down all kapok trees along the river bank and expelled people out of the village. Their aim was to ambush the National Army's Navy ascendending from Mekong river to Kampong Cham.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣-វិចិ្ឆកា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួន១០០នាក់ បាន មកតាំងជម្រកព្រមទាំងជីកលេណដ្ឋានតាំងកាំភ្លើងនៅភូមិជីហែ សង្កាត់ ជីហែ ស្រុកកោះសូទិន ព្រមទាំងបានកាប់ដើមគ នៅតាមមាត់ទនេ្ល ចោលអស់ និងដេញអ្នកស្រុកឱ្យភៀសខ្លួនចេញពីភូមិនេះទៀត។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំង គឺលបចាំបាញ់កងនាវាចរណ៍របស់កងទ័ពដែលឡើង តាមទនេ្លមេគង្គ ទៅកាន់កំពង់ចាម។
