In 1970 at Kampong Ro, Uong Tes studied military strategy with Vietcong. After he finished his study with Vietcong, he was assigned by Vietcong to be a chief of group, sector chief and deputy chief, controling 4 sector in region 23. On August-03-1971, the person was arrested by South Vietnamese troop, for serving enemy.
អួង ទេស បានចូលរៀនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រពីពួកយៀកកុង នៅកំពង់រោទ៍ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ក្រោយពីរៀនហើយយៀកកុងតែងតាំងឱ្យធ្វើជាមេពួក, មេផ្នែក, អនុប្រធានត្រួតទ័ពចំនួន៤ផ្នែកនៅតំបន់២៣។ ថ្ងៃ៣-សីហា-១៩៧១ សាម៉ីខ្លួនត្រូវបានកងទ័ពខាងយៀកណាមខាងត្បូង ចាប់ខ្លួន ពីបទបម្រើផលប្រយោជន៍ខ្មាំង។
