On November 12, 1973, about 600 Khmer Communist armed forces split themselves into 2 groups and shelter in the South of Prek Tnaot embankment, and in the North of embankment. On November 13, 1973, the enemies were 3 battalions moved from Porpel Phnom village up into western in ordered to help their forces who were operating at Sre Khlung.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២-វិច្ឆិកា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួន៦០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាចវុធបានបំបែកគ្នាជា២ក្រុម មកស្នាក់នៅខាងត្បូង ទំនប់ទឹកព្រែកត្នោត និងខាងជើងទំនប់ ហើយបានធ្វើចលនាទៅ វត្ដគ្រួស។ ថ្ងៃទី១៣-វិច្ឆិកា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មាំងចំនួន៣កងវរៈសេនាតូច ផេ្សងទៀត បានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភូមិពពែភ្នំ តម្រង់ទៅខាងលិច ដើម្បី ជួបគ្នាវាដែលកំពុងប្រតិបត្ដិការនៅស្រែខ្លុង។
