On September 7, 1973, 600 families and 70 monks were evacuated and Bak Nim and Daun Keo sub-district by the enemy to the forest in Ta Lou sub-district, Bakan district. Properties in pagoda were confiscated as collective property. Unable to bear the suppression, monks wanted to leave monkhood and escape to government base. 500 enemies departed from Battambang province to settle down in the forest. The enemy aimed to evacuate all inhabitant to their controlled area which made themeasy to control inhabitant's rebellion. They also meaned to ambush the national troop that came to that region.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៧-សីហា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មាំងបានកៀរអ្នកស្រុក៦០០គ្រួសារ ក្នុងសង្កាត់បាក់នឹម និងស្វាយដូនកែវ យកមកទុកក្នុងព្រៃក្នុងសង្កាត់ តាលូ ស្រុកបាកាន និងព្រះសង្ឃ ៧០អង្គ ហើយគរុភ័ណ្ឌ ក្នុងវត្ដត្រូវ បានខ្មាំងរឹបអូសជាសម្បត្ដិរួម។ ដោយមានការឈឺចាប់ នឹងការគាបសង្កត់ របស់ខ្មាំងព្រះសង្ឃដែលគង់នៅតំបន់ខ្មាំងកាន់កាប់ មានបំណងផ្សឹក ទើបភៀសខ្លួនមកកាន់ជំរុំរដ្ឋាភិបាល។ ខ្មាំងមាន ចំនួន៥០០ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ធ្វើចលនាចេញពីខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង ចូលមក តាំងជម្រកក្នុងព្រៃ។ ខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងកៀរអ្នកស្រុកឱ្យអស់យក ទៅទុកក្នុងតំបន់វាកាន់កាប់ ដើម្បីងាយស្រួលកុ្នងការត្រួតពិនិត្យកុំឱ្យអ្នកស្រុកប្រឆាំងនឹងពួកវាបាន។ ម្យ៉ាងពួកខ្មាំងមានបំណងចាំពួន ស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិដែល ឡើងមកប្រតិបត្ដិការក្នុងតំបន់នេះ។
