On October 23, 1973, after the national airforces bombarded on Khmer rebels base in Kdat village, Preah Mlou sub-district, Bakan district, Pursat province, enemies retreated and started to split up their forces into small groups, and then came to hide themselves at Stung Chann from Au Preay village up to Koh Khsach.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៣-តុលា-១៩៧៣ ក្រោយពីកងអាកាសចរណ៍ធ្វើការ ទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកនៅលើកន្លែងទ័ពខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមនៅភូមិក្ដាត សង្កាត់ ព្រះម្លូ ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់។ ក្រោយពីទម្លាក់មកខ្មាំងបានដកថយ ហើយបំបែកគ្នាជាក្រុមតូចៗ ចូលមករាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅតាមកណ្ដាល ស្ទឹងចាន់ ចាប់ពីភូមិអូរព្រាយ រហូតដល់កោះខ្សាច់។
