On September-13-1973, some 1500 Khmer Rebels came to position in Prey Svay village, Tayao quarter, Bakan district, Pursat province. The enemy had the intention to attack the barracks of the national armed forces from Trapeang Chorng to Svay Daunkeo and cut off the national road 5.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៣-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន១៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អា វុធបានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិព្រៃស្វាយ សង្កាត់តាយោ ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់។ ខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងវាយទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិចាប់ពី ត្រពាំងជងរហូតដល់ស្វាយដូនកែវ និងកាត់ផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៥។
