On February 26, 1972, about 1,500 Khmer Viet Cong Armed Forces under a commander named So Sam Oeun, moved from Prey Veng province and deployed at WT 173-872, WT 213-885 in Prey Veng provincial border, at WT 120-840 to WT 116-847 in Kampong Chamlong sub-district, Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរយៀកកកុងប្រហែល ១៥០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សូ សំអឿន បានចេញពីខេត្ដព្រៃវែង មកលាក់ខ្លួននៅតាមព្រំប្រទល់ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ១៧៣-៨៧២ ត្រង់ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ២១៣-៨៨៥ និងខេត្ដកណ្ដាល ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ១២០-៨៤០ រហូតដល់ ឌុបដឺវ៉េទេ១១៦-៨៤៧ ក្នុងឃុំកំពង់ចម្លង ស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
