A source said that on July 13, 1973, Khmer rebels stored 150 sacks of rice under a tile-roof house at VU959-958 in Kra Koh sub-district, and these rice was stocked for soldiers in the South of Kampong Thom provincial town. On July 17, 1973, about as 70 Khmer rebels in battalion 306 dug trenches at VU 924-973, VU924-968, VU924-968 and VU928-968 in Srayov sub-district.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៣ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមបានស្ដុក អង្ករចំនួន១៥០បាវ នៅក្រោមផ្ទះក្បឿង១ខ្នងវ៉េអ៊ុយ៩៥៩-៩៥៨ ក្នុងឃុំក្រកោះ។ អង្ករទាំងនេះ ត្រូវបានស្ដុកទុកសម្រាប់ទ័ពដែលតាំង នៅប៉ែកខាងត្បូងក្រុងកំពង់ធំ។ កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៧ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រមាណ៧០នាក់ វរសេនាតូច៣០៦ បានជីកលាណដ្ឋាន យ៉ាងមាំក្នុងឃុំស្រយ៉ូវ។
