On January 29, 1972, about 200-300 North Yuon Viet Congs hid in a bamboo forest at VT 803-955, Trapeang Krapae at VT 804-947, and in Prey Kamnap at VT 808-943, Chrey Lah commune, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province. On January 31, 1972, about 300-400 Viet Congs crossed from Muk Kampoul district, at VT 827-945 and set up shelters in Trapeang Sangke village at VT 782-943, in Bamboo Forest at VT 782-940, and a cart cross road at VT 785-937, Chrey Lah commune, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើងប្រ -ហែលពី២០០ ទៅ ៣០០នាក់ បានមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅក្នុងព្រៃឬស្សី ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨០៣-៩៥៥ ត្រពាំងក្រពើ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨០៤-៩៤៧ និងនៅព្រៃកំណប់ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨០៨-៩៤៣ ក្នុងឃុំជ្រៃលាស់ ស្រុក ពញ្ញាឮ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ នៅថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានយួន យៀកកុងប្រហែល៣០០ ទៅ ៤០០នាក់ទៀត បានឆ្លងពីស្រុកមុខកំពូល កាត់តាមវ៉េតេ៨២៧-៩៤៥ មកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិត្រពាំងសង្កែ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៨២-៩៤៣ ព្រៃឬស្សី ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៨២-៩៤០ និងត្រង់ផ្លូវរទេះបំបែក ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៨៥-៩៣៧ ក្នុងឃុំជ្រៃលាស់ ស្រុកពញ្ញាឮ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
