A source repored that, approximately 3,000 Khmer Rebel armed forces came to stay in Kandal Khrom village at WT 166-675, 150-670 and AngKor Chey village at WT 140-670, 140-882 in Ban Tiey Dek sub-district, Kandal province. They were about to attack a National Army base in Kandal Loe, Ang Kor Chey, Prek Luong as well as Kha Som village shortly there after.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៣,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានរាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅភូមិកណ្ដាលក្រោម ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៦៦-៦៧៥, ១៥០-៦៧០ ភូមិអង្គរជ័យ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ១៤០-៦៧០ មកទល់នឹងចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៤០-៨៨២ក្នុងសង្កាត់ បន្ទាយដែក។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមថាគោលបំណងរបស់ខ្មាំងគឺ ប្រុងវាយ ផ្ដាច់ទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិដែលប្រចាំការនៅភូមិកណ្ដាលលើ ភូមិអង្គរជ័យភូមិព្រែកលួង និងភូមិខ្សុំ នៅក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
