A source reported that on May 23-24, 1973, around 100 Yuon Viet Congs, and Khmer Rebels from an undetermined in region No. 15, deployed themselves in villagers' houses at VT 762-637, 755-637, 745-631, in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. They were about to attack National Army Bases in Kampong Kantuot and Kampong Tuol shortly there after.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៣-២៤ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀកកុង និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល១០កងវរសេនាតូច ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានធើ្វចលនាចេញពីតំបន់លេខ១៥ ចូលមករាយគ្នានៅតាមអ្នក ស្រុក ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៧៦២-៦៣៧, ៧៥៥-៦៣៧, ៧៤៥-៦៣១ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ ទៀតថា ខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅ កំពង់កន្ទួត និងកំពង់ទួល នៅក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
