Enemies had used Damnak Trach village, Sre Chea comune, Kampong Trach district of Kampot province at VS 270-783, as a headquarter and Military Startegy Training Centre in an attempt to capture Back Chuok district form National Army.
ពួកខ្មាំងបានយកភូមិដំណាក់ត្រាច ឃុំស្រែជា ស្រុកកំពង់ត្រាច ខេត្ដកំពត ត្រង់វ៉េអេស ២៧០-៧៨៣ ធ្វើជាទីបញ្ជាការ និងកន្លែងហាត់ហ្វឺកហ្វឺនក្បួនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ។ មូលហេតុដែលខ្មាំងបង្កើត ទីបញ្ជាការ និងកន្លែងហាត់នេះ គឺក្នុងគោលបំណងប្រយុទ្ធដណ្ដើមយក ស្រុកឈូក ពីកណ្ដាប់ដៃកងទ័ពជាតិមកវិញ។
