On June 26, 1971, Viet Cong agent, Kim Pheng, came to set up shelter at the National Army Camp in Touk Meas in an attempt to join the National Army. The Commander of Battalion No. 67 was suspicious and asked him some personal questions. He said that he had gone on a mission to the National Army Camp, which was under the command of UK Tran and he is the boss.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានភ្នាក់ងារយួនយៀកកុង ម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ គឹម ផេង បានចូលមកក្នុងជំរុំកងទ័ពជាតិនៅទូកមាស ដើម្បី សុំចុះឈ្មោះចូលបម្រើកងទ័ពជាតិវិញ។ ប៉ុន្ដែដោយមានការសង្ស័យ ពីប្រភពទើបមេបញ្ជាការកងវរសេនាតូច៦៧ បានសាកសួរនូវព័ត៌មានផេ្សងៗពីសាម៉ីជនផ្ទាល់។ ក្រោយពីការសាកសួរមក ប្រភពបានឆើ្លយថាខ្លួនចូលមកនេះ គឺក្នុងការបំពេញបេសកកម្មក្នុងជំរុំទ័ពជាតិ ដែលមានឈ្មោះ អ៊ុក ត្រាន់ ជាអ្នកបញ្ជា និងជាចៅហា្វយនាយផ្ទាល់។
