Siv Vary, a member of food supliers in battalion ៈ59, region ៈ35 in Kampot province, was arrested by national army in special military operation of Kampot province on March 20, 1974 when he was in a car driving at Phnom Sa ang entrance, National Road ៈ3. He confessed that he was so injured that he could not manage to escape except 11 of his friends. His commander was Hing Thul, and there was any kinds of weapons used in the unit such as: 82 mm-cannoned mortar, 80 mm, 60 mm, Chinese machine gun RPD, Machine gun 30-US, B-40, B-41, M-79 and a variety of guns.
