On November 24, 1974, Suos Eng, Khmer communist, defected to national military authority in battalion 175, infantry brigade 4 at WT 979-210, bringing along 1 health certificate, 7 famales and 3 males because they did not want to serve Khmer communist movement any more.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ សួស អេង បានមករួមរស់ និងអាជ្ញាធរយោធាយើងនៅកងវរៈសេនា តូចលេខ១៧៥ នៃកងពលតូចថ្មើរជើងលេខ៤ ចំនុចឌុបយូធី ៩៧៩-២១០ វិញ ដោយបាននាំយកមកជាមួយនៅសំបុត្រពេទ្យមួយសន្លឹក និងមនុស្សស្រី៧នាក់ ប្រុស៣នាក់ទៀត ព្រោះខ្លួនមិនចងនៅបម្រើ ខ្មាំងឡើយ។
