Chhdech Chun was arrested on November 22, 1971 by military police in Nikum 1 region for being suspected of enemy spy.
He denied the accusation, saying that he was a combatant in infantry Brigade 21, under the command of Kry, for only 4 month. After his resignation, he was arrested and sent to back to Kampong Cham province by Viet Cong. Then Viet Cong freed him to come to Phnom Penh and he was arrested upon arrival by military in Nikum 1 region. ឈ្មោះ ឆេ្ដច ជុន ត្រូវបានតម្រួតយោធាតំបន់និគមទី១ចាប់ខ្លួន កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ចោទពីបទសង្ស័យជាភ្នាក់ងារ ខ្មាំង។ ប្រភពបានឆ្លើយបដិសេធថាខ្លួនមិនមែនជាភ្នាក់ងាររបស់ខ្មាំង- ទេ តែខ្លួន(ប្រភព) គ្រាន់តែជាពលទោក្នុងកងពលតូចថ្មើរជើងលេខ ២១ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះគ្រី បាន៤ខែប៉ុណ្ណោះ ហើយលាឈប់មក នៅផ្ទះវិញ ស្រាប់តែត្រូវពួកយៀកកុងចាប់ខ្លួនបញ្ជូនទៅនៅខេត្ដ កំពង់ចាមវិញ។ ក្រោយមកប្រភពត្រូវពួកយៀកកុងនោះលែងឱ្យមកភ្នំពេញវិញ ពេលមកដល់ភ្នំពេញក៏ត្រូវតម្រួតយោធាតំបន់ និគមទី១ចាប់ខ្លួនតែម្ដង។
