On June 2, 1974, Kin Siek, a former National Army who was arrested in May 1970, by Yuon Viet Cong soldiers during defected to the South Vietnam Authorities and was sent to the Khmer Embassy to Prey Norkor. On November 4, 1974 he was set to the General Staff in Phnom Penh.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២ មិថុនា ១៩៧៤ ឈ្មោះ គិន សៀក អតីតតម្រួត យោធាកងទ័ពជាតិ ហើយត្រូវពួកយួនយៀកកុងចាប់ខ្លួនក្នុងពេល ប្រយុទ្ធគ្នា។ សៀក រត់ ចេញមកវិញមកបង្ហាញខ្លួននៅអាជ្ញាធរ យួនខាងត្បូង ហើយត្រូវអាជ្ញាធរយួនបញ្ជូនមកស្ថានទូតខ្មែរ នៅព្រៃនគរ រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃ៤ វិច្ឆិកា ១៩៧៤ ត្រូវបញ្ជូនមកដល់ ភ្នំពេញ ហើយចូលទៅបង្ហាញខ្លួននៅសេនាធិការ។
